Google’s efforts for economic recovery in Middle East by developing digital skills for individuals and companies

The company pledged in its "Go Strong with Google" program, which it describes as its biggest commitment in the Middle East since it began working in the region 13 years ago, to help one million people and companies acquire digital skills and grow their business on the Internet by the end of 2021.
This includes training in advanced skills such as cloud computing and machine learning for nearly 400,000 developers, with a focus on women in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Lebanon and Jordan.
The plan also aims to enhance basic digital skills by expanding the "Skills from Google" program through new partnerships that include the Ministries of Tourism and Youth in Egypt, the Ministry of Saudi Communications and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The pledge also includes financial grants of $ 1.1 million to train companies and business owners through partnerships with non-governmental bodies.
