Modern
and advanced vehicles and equipment will be used in rescue missions in the
future.
According
to some media, the Russian Emergencies Ministry, during the recent activities
of the Interpolitex-2020 technical exhibition, reviewed several models of
rescue vehicles and modern robots that it is developing for use in rescue
missions in cases of fires or natural disasters.
Experts
at the Ministry of Emergencies indicated during the exhibition that Russian
technicians and engineers are currently working on developing a tracked
amphibious rescue vehicle capable of operating in the most difficult terrain
and flooded places, and that this mechanism will be equipped with robotic arms
to facilitate rescue operations, as well as it will obtain equipment and hoses
to extinguish it. Fires, pumps to drain water from places that may be flooded,
and that the vehicle passed the required acceptance tests and was nominated to
work as a rescue vehicle for the Ministry in Russia.
The experts noted that
the Russian Emergencies Ministry is currently discussing several projects to
develop multi-mission drones to be used in rescue operations, and to develop
several technologies for radiation and chemical protection, as well as new
equipment and cranes for emergency services.
It should be noted that
Russia had previously reviewed several models of robots designed for rescue and
firefighting operations, including a small robot equipped with powerful cameras
and water pumps, capable of working in hard-to-reach places during rescue
operation
