Google surprised users to announce its intention to deprive one of an important feature of its most popular app.
According to the company's information, users of the popular Hangouts app will gradually miss the feature of group video calls provided by the app.
Experts at Google point out that the new version 36.0 of hangouts for android and iOS smartphones and smartphones now has a special icon that allows users to switch to the Google Meet app for group video calls.
Google said in an online blog that from next year it will start shutting down users' accounts for the popular Hangouts messaging app, gradually transferring user accounts to Google Chat, and that users will benefit from the latest app's features free of charge even though these services were previously driven.
