Samsung is developing a unique electronic piece that will help people to find their phones and lost belongings, according to new technology websites.
Samsung is expected to officially announce the technology in January at the event at which it will unveil the galaxy S21 phones.
According to the leaks, Samsung has obtained the necessary licenses to develop an electronic piece bearing the code EI-T5300, which will be launched on the market under the name Galaxy Smart Tag.
The new piece will be a small electronic medallion that can be hung with the phone, keys chain or handbag, for example, and this medal will contain special slides that can be tracked via satellite and by a special application located in the smartphone, for example, in case of loss of the phone you can refer to the application to find out where it is, as the user can connect more than one medal via his application to find out where his important things related to those medals at every moment. Galaxy Smart Tag medals are supposed to get connectivity with smart devices via Bluetooth, and data transfer via Ultra-Wideband technologies or LTE networks.
