China uses drones to burn killer wasp nests

Chinese engineers have created a small flamethrower and installed it in a marching drone, with which to burn the killer wasp nests.

Activists from the Chinese social organization Blue Sky Rescue raised $ 13,000, bought the drone and supplied it with a flamethrower, fuel tank and guidance equipment.

And the British "Associated Press" agency said that some remote Chinese regions have recently witnessed a high number of deaths from deadly hornet stings.

Residents of those areas directed a request to Chinese social organizations to help them get rid of these deadly aggressive insects, as the people of remote villages are unable to receive medical aid required after being attacked by insects. So they gladly agreed to collect donations that will be used to manufacture drones that kill wasps.

A team of volunteers, using the flying flamethrower, destroyed 11 large hornet nests in the Chinese Zhong District, where local residents were more than once attacked by insects.

The newspaper said that the volunteers plan to soon burn 100 more nests of the dangerous killer wasps.

Chinese volunteers said they could use their drones after it destroys the killer hornet's entire nests for other purposes such as rescuing sailors in distress at sea.
