How to hide old posts on your Facebook account

Many Facebook users do not customize the posts and leave it as it is to appear to the public and everyone who browses the timeline, some of us focus a lot on this matter and work to determine that the post is exclusively for friends and does not appear to the public, or that it excludes some friends sometimes.

Steps to hide old posts on your Facebook account

Facebook and privacy settings allow us this option, and that we work to re-allocate those old posts (meaning old is all posts from the beginning until your last post) allows us to adjust them all together so that only you appear. That is, everyone who will visit your timeline or your profile will never find anything to read.

Now, where you can only view these posts. Later, through your main account, you can review your posts one by one. Whenever you want one of these posts to be visible to the public or to friends, you can edit the post and change the assignment or however you like.

Hide all your old posts

1- Go through the account settings on Facebook. From your computer or through the mobile app, go to Settings & Privacy.

2- Look in the field “Do you want to restrict the audience of posts that you have shared with friends of friends or the public?” And click on (Restrict previous posts) or Limit Past Posts.

3- A brief message will appear for you to confirm what you are doing, and that this change cannot be undone except through manual procedures for each previous post.

4- Click on (Restrict Previous Posts) or Limit Past Posts to end up with your timeline free of any old posts and no one can access them except you.
