Details of UAE and Israel bilateral agreements

Representatives of the two countries signed the agreements in the fields of flights, visa-free travel, investment protection, and cooperation in science and technology at Ben Gurion Airport, near Tel Aviv, in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Secretary of the Treasury Stephen Mnuchin, and UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Obaid Hamid Al Tayer.

Among the most prominent documents signed is an agreement to operate flights between the two countries, as it is planned to launch dozens of regular flights by passenger aircraft and transport every week between Israel and the UAE in the coming weeks.

This agreement will also allow Israeli and foreign airlines to operate flights from Israel to the Far East and Australia via the Emirates, which will lead to a shortening of their duration, and thus a significant reduction in airline ticket prices.

It was also agreed that citizens of the UAE and Israel would be exempt from obtaining visas to enter the two countries
