Reports opened the secret of actual cost of production of iPhone 12

Japan's Fomalhaut Techno Solutions laboratory
specializing in hardware dismantling has released its iPhone 12 and Pro model report, revealing the approximate costs of the two phone components.

According to the laboratory, the cost of producing the iPhone 12 does not exceed US$373, while the cost of producing his brother Pro is only about $406. For comparison, the iPhone 12 sells for a starting price of US$829, while the Pro starts at $999.

As for the individual cost of components, the top cost of qualcomm X55 5G was $90 per phone, followed by Samsung's OLED screens, which are estimated at $70 per phone.

The A14 Bionic processor costs about $40, while RAM costs about $12.8 per phone, and internal storage costs $19.2 per phone. Sony's camera sensors for iPhones range from $7.40 to $7.90 per phone.

The laboratory released a statement showing the home of each phone component supplier, with South Korea accounting for 26.8 percent of all components for the new iPhone 12, the United States with 21.9 percent, and Japan at 13.6 percent. Apple still collects the majority of iPhone phones in China.

The well-known Apple news analyst (Ming-chi Ku) has issued a recent report on the company's performance ahead of the holiday season.

According to the analyst, the iPhone 12 is now being sold differently than initially expected. Demand for pro and Pro Max is higher than expected, while demand for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini falls short of expectations.

Ko said demand for the latest iPad Air tablet also went better than expected, and he expects iPad sales to continue in terms of strength next year, with reports that Apple intends to provide iPad computers with a mini LED screen, support for 5G networks, and a cheap model of computers scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2021.
