Physics world has selected the world's most renowned scientific journal, Elham Fadali, as the best scientific research of 2020.
The magazine selected the scientist and her team at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, where the research included the transfer of information through light through the use of silicon fiber.
The magazine announced on its website that Fadali and her scientific team have received this year's The Physics World 2020 Award.
Fadali said in a video for the program "Egypt can" specialized in communication with Egyptian scientists abroad, that the Doctoral conducted specialized in nanomaterials and micro and suspended by the structure of the material that enables us to obtain different characteristics of corn, which is reflected in obtaining a photoemission efficiently and effectively and the possibility of using them in the transmission of information and making a breakthrough in the world of electronics, and that the devices around us include two methods of transferring information, electrical wiring and phototechnology.
She added that the most important drawbacks of the two methods are the production of heat quantities that affect the transfer of data and turn to the transfer of certain distances across continents, pointing out that through her research she was able to get different characteristics and a change in silicon components to transfer information through it easily and in a safe way will achieve a breakthrough in information technology.
