During its participation in CES 2021, Acer unveiled the new version of its Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 laptops.
Aspire 5 from Acer is often highly praised as one of the best budget laptops you can buy.
According to the fact that evaluations were divided in 2020 between people who liked AMD models and people who liked Intel models, the company has updated two Aspire models to incorporate the all-new Ryzen 5000 Series from AMD.
Aspire 7 pairs the Ryzen chip with the GeForce GTX 1650, which doesn't make it a gaming laptop by any means, but allows it to play some light games and media on the go.
The computer weighs 2.15 kg and can come with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage space, and supports the 802.11ax network called Wi-Fi 6.
Acer also offers software to improve the viewing experience on the Aspire 7 15.6-inch and FHD display.
According to the company, Acer Color Intelligence and Acer ExaColor set the game (how smooth the transition of black to white across the digital screen) and real-time saturation to deliver high-resolution visuals.
Acer says aspire 5 is aimed at amateur bloggers, photographers and students, and aspire 5 replaces the NVidia chip with the initial AMD Radeon RX 640 graphics processing units, which are not recommended for tasks beyond basic games.
You can also get up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of M.2PCIe SSD NVMe or a 2TB HDD.
The 15.6-inch, FHD IPS computer display includes Acer BlueLightShield technology, which aims to reduce eye strain.
This device provides high-speed data transmission, although the company does not provide a specific speed, and supports the dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax.
Both models also offer multiple cooling modes, which means you can customize fan performance according to the task you're doing and how much sound you want to hear.
This is a common feature of sophisticated gaming and content creation laptops, meaning you can upgrade when you do the most demanding work without having to hear fans' voice 24/7.
Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 come to the United States in March, aspire 7 starts at $750, Aspire 5 starts at $550, and computers are available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in February.
