Philips toothbrush uses artificial intelligence

Philips, the world leader in health technology, has announced the new Sonicare 9900 Prestige toothbrush with SenseIQ technology that the company hopes will stand up to its oral-B and other competitors.

The company says the new toothbrush uses artificial intelligence to monitor the health of your mouth and brush your teeth to better protect your teeth from decay.

While brushing your teeth, SenseIQ senses, adapts and takes care of your teeth and gums, providing a unique and customized cleaning experience, and the technology feels how much pressure is pressed on your teeth and adjusts the intensity of vibrations to suit you.

Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige uses sensors to detect the pressure, cleaning movements you use and the coverage it achieves, and the sensors also monitor how long the brush is used and how often it is cleaned.

"Most of us put a lot of pressure on cleaning, and this new unit is designed to mitigate this trend," the company said.

The new brush head contains a new set of corner whiskers that Phillips says remove splint splints 20 times more than current models while providing flexibility to compensate for any excess pressure, as well as remove stains and take care of gums.

Triangular limbs can remove up to 100 percent of stains in less than two days, and longer bristles provide deeper cleaning of the gums up to 15 times healthier.

Philips Sonicare provides real-time instructions on how best to clean people's teeth, and the more you use them, the more personalized your recommendations become.

The app tracks your brushes, puts reminders, and gives you tips on how to clean your teeth properly, and over time, the program will be able to provide weekly, monthly and even annual progress reports.

Now you don't need to take your phone with you when brushing your teeth because your toothbrush automatically syncs data afterwards.

A new travel case for the brush made of soft-touch vegan leather comes with its own built-in USB-C port for easy recharging on the go.

Machine learning and artificial intelligence are the most popular words in technology these days, and almost all new products add these words to their products as a major selling point.

The new toothbrush uses only one multi-potential head, and there is no need to switch the head while changing conditions, while still promising better cleaning than electric brushes.
