Samsung's affordable phone for 5G networks

 


Samsung recently unveiled the design and specifications of a new phone it has developed to be among the most competitive smart devices dedicated to working with 5G networks.

The new Galaxy A42 5G comes with a sleek metal and glass chassis, its rear façade features distinctive hues of color spectra, and the dimensions of the chassis in this device (164.4/75.9/8.6) mm, and its weight is 193 g.

Equipped with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, 1,600/720 pixels of resolution, dimensions of "20:9".

This phone can connect to 5G networks and quickly handle data with a Snapdragon 750 5G processor, a special modem chip, a 6/8GB random access code, and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSDXC cards.


Its core camera comes quad-lens (48+8+5+5) megapixels, and the 20-megapixel front camera works with facial recognition technologies.

Samsung has also supported this device with two calling card ports, a 3.5mm speaker port, an NFC electronic payment chip, satellite positioning systems and a 5,000-milliamp battery powered by fast charging technologies.

The 5G A42 runs Android 10 with One UI 2.5 interfaces, and prices start at approximately $339.
