Russian will begin production of its first electric car "Kama-1", early next year.
Kama-1 can travel at a maximum speed of 150 km per hour to a distance of 250 km without charging its batteries.
The car is 3.4 meters long and 1.7 meters wide. The car can accommodate 4 passengers. And it accelerates to 60 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds.
The car is equipped with a battery capacity of 33 kWh, sufficient to travel at an economic speed to a distance of up to 300 km.
The car can be used in various climatic regions, and its battery can withstand temperatures that drop to minus 50 degrees Celsius.
The Russian KamAZ plant is expected to produce about 20,000 Russian electric cars every year. As for its price, it was one million rubles, equivalent to about 13.3 thousand dollars.
The engineers of the Russian "KamAZ" company hope that the tests of the electric car will end by December, so that 2021 will witness the start of its batch production.
