Asus announces ZenBook dual screen devices

Asus has announced two new ZenBook Duo dual-screen devices with 15 inches and 14 inches as part of its CES 2021 ad list.

There's also the new VivoBook and the new ExpertBook for people looking for light and portable purchases.

ZenBook Duo laptops have a basic screen as well as a secondary screen called screenPad Plus integrated into the upper half of the keyboard.

The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED 15-inch is an update to the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 dual-screen, a 15.6-inch dual-screen laptop with a basic OLED display.

There is also a 14-inch model, a sequel to the regular ZenBook Duo that was launched last year.

ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED has Intel's 10th generation processors (up to Core i9) and the latest Invedia GeForce RTX 3070 mobile graphics processing unit.

ZenBook Duo 14 includes Intel's 11th generation processors (Core i7 or Core i5) with built-in Iris Xe graphics, and you can also add the Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU.

Both have a new design that makes the ScreenPad Plus secondary screen tilted upwards rather than flat on the keyboard surface.

This means you don't need to lift your neck above the keyboard to read the secondary screen, which was uncomfortable for older Duo models.

There is also a new detailed design that Asus says: it is 30 percent smaller with a smaller fan size.

Asus has also upgraded ScreenPad — now screen Xpert 2 — to include new apps that make multitasking easier.

With the new Window Flick feature, you can easily move windows from one screen to another.

There's also the new VivoBook S14, and Asus says it's the lightest 14-inch VivoBook ever manufactured at just 1.3 kg.

VivoBook S14 has also been upgraded with 11th-generation processors with built-in Xe graphics, and Asus says you get up to 17 hours of battery life.

There is also a regular VivoBook 14, which runs the ryzen 5000 processors of the new U-Series from AMD.

Asus has made some updates to the ExpertBook lineup, including the ExpertBook B9, so that the full name of the new model is ExpertBook B9450CEA.

Asus says it is the world's lightest 14-inch business laptop with a weight of 0.8 kg and includes the latest Intel vPro 11th-generation processors, which offer a number of security and remote management features, including Intel's active management technology.

ExpertBook has a number of new features designed to make conference calls easier, including dual-directional ai-enabled noise cancellation technology, Harman Kardon-certified speakers, and Wi-Fi 6 support.
