GENERAL Motors Introduces Cadillac Celestiq Electric Car

General Motors co-founded a range of new electric cars at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show, led by the upcoming Cadillac Celestiq.

Car maker Cadillac Celestiq described it as a very luxurious fully electric car.

Although there is no specific release date or any significant relevant specifications, GM has revealed some features.

GM first introduced cadillac Celestiq to a group of reporters at the EV Day event in early 2020, but has not yet made any public photos.

The ultra-luxury car is supposed to serve as an facilities for the Cadillac Lyriq, which was unveiled last August.

Both vehicles are built on general motors' Ultium electric car platform, which operates a wide range of vehicle types and sizes, including the new GMC Hummer electric and brightDrop delivery vehicles.

Cadillac Celestiq has a 4x4 system, all-wheel drive and a fully panoramic glass roof, which Cadillac takes to the next level by making it a standard lyxable roof.

The car manufacturer describes the roof as made of smart glass, which allows each passenger to determine their level of transparency.

Crystal Windham, Cadillac's interior design manager, said at the CES presentation: The color of the glass fits the ambient lighting in the interior.

There is also a giant touch screen, and Cadillac Lyriq has received a lot of attention because of the 33-inch LED curved display for the infotainment system.

Cadillac looks ready to add a larger screen in Cadillac Celestiq, but Cadillac does not currently disclose the size of that screen.

Cadillac Lyriq has previously described the Cadillac Lyriq display as having the highest pixel density available in the automotive industry today and can display more than a billion colors, 64 times more than any other car in the automotive industry.

Cadillac Celestiq is likely to include Super Cruise, gm's advanced hands-free driver assistance system, which includes driver control.
