What is google camera?
It is a camera application developed by Google, and first appeared in 2014 with the launch of Google's first branded phone, Pixel, and as a result of the features offered by pixel phones are known as the best smartphones in terms of camera power and image quality.
The app takes advantage of the Android operating system, by replacing the built-in app into the camera, and then lets you take advantage of many advanced features, significantly resulting in very high quality images. It offers tremendous possibilities in photography, and although Google did not put this application to all other Android phones in the Google Play Store, you can get it and install it in your phone via file (APK) if you like, where it allows you to take advantage of all the camera capabilities, and brings the most advanced image processing technologies to your phone.
Features of google camera app:
The Google Camera app has many features that help improve image quality, with additional options for taking and processing photos, including:
- Slow Motion: With this feature, you can record a video at a rate of 120 or 240 fps.
- Motion Photos: This feature lets you take a picture with a three-second video and combine them with a single file to get a moving image at the end.
- Lens Blur focus: This feature is primarily designed for selfie taking, dimming the background, emphasizing and improving the object in the image.
- HDR+ feature: When taking a series of images, this feature reduces image blur, increases dynamic range, as the app takes the sharpest image from the captured image collection, and is algorithmically enhanced by processing each pixel, and overall the HDR+feature improves images in low-light conditions more than others.
- Smart Burst: Using this feature, the Google Camera app on the phone will be able to take about ten photos per second by pressing at length the shooting button, after which the app will automatically choose the best image from the collection.
- Video Stabilization: This in-app feature allows you to process videos to remove capture flaws and correct focus, as a result, you can create seamless and exhilarating videos that can be shared directly without having to edit them first.
- Panorama: This feature in the Google Camera app lets you take panoramic photos vertically and horizontally at a 360 degree angle.
Install the Google Camera app in your phone
Before you start you must first install an application (Camera2 API) which is available for free in Google Play, where this file lets you know whether your phone supports the application Google Camera or not.
After installing the previous app, follow the following steps to install the Google Camera app:
- In your computer's web browser, go to xda-developers via this link.
- Press the three points at the top right of the browser.
- From the menu that appears to you, click the Find in page option, or you can press the (Ctrl+F) button in the keyboard.
- In the search box below, type your phone model.
- After you find your phone model, click on the Download Link to the APK file next to it on the right side.
- After downloading the Google Camera App APK file in your phone, install it in your phone as you would do with any app, and you'll be ready to take advantage of the app's capabilities by taking high-quality photos with your phone's camera.
(You must allow the installed App from Unknown Sources option to be activated in your phone settings so you can install the app.)
